What does AOL stand for?

AOL Inc. (AOL) is a global media and technology company with a worldwide audience and a suite of digital brands, products and services that it offers to consumers, advertisers, publishers and subscribers. The Company has three reportable segments: The Brand Group, The Membership Group and AOL Platforms.

What happened to the AOL logo?

So the “all-seeing eye” turned into an arrow – a symbol of forwarding movement. In the latest version of the logo, geometric shapes have disappeared. They were replaced by the usual black dot, which should be interpreted as the fulcrum for all AOL products. A non-standard sans serif font was used for the inscription.

What are AOL properties?

AOL Properties include the owned and operated content, products and services in the Membership Group and Brand Group segments. AOL Properties also include co-branded websites owned or operated by third parties for which certain criteria have been met. The Company’s AOL subscription service is a distribution channel for AOL Properties.
